April 9th to 10th with a special buffet style dinner, the launch of a new book of the story of RBC and hosting an open mic stories section of RBC over the years. To mark the celebrations Sue Barrow, a member of the church, has written a book about the churches history over the last 80 year of witness in the city and in North Cardiff.

Antonio Carvalho says God has saved his life – several times. A nurse from Cardiff has told how he has overcome cancer, a tumour in the stomach and a severe lung condition. Antonio Carvalho, 38, also had testicular cancer when he was six – but that was only the first of what he believes were a few instances of God’s miraculous protection and power. In 2015 The Net Cardiff (an initiative of Evangelical Alliance Wales), along with other organisations, set up a 40 day prayer initiative called “Seek God for the City.” They used some prayer resources sources from America but this year felt it was time we put together a resource specifically for Cardiff. The Net Cardiff have produced a 40 day prayer guide to help people pray effectively for the city over the lent period. Christians are being encouraged to find out more about domestic violence and how it can be addressed in a new resource being launched by Christian charity Restored. The resource explains what domestic abuse is and practical steps the Church can take to address it. Restored works to end violence against women and wants to equip the Church to challenge attitudes and behaviours that perpetrate domestic violence.
