Emma inspiring other at Cardiff Half Marathon

Arriving early to church on Sunday morning to beat the city centre traffic many of us went outside to watch the runners as they passed our church. We cheered and clapped the elite runners and then looked out for faces in the crowd that we recognised and clapped others dresses in all sort of costumes and raising funds for all sorts of good causes. We then returned to preparing for the crowd that would soon gather for our church service. Some 15 minutes after most of the runners were passed we were encouraged to go back on to the streets…

Amazing Grace Space - Event proves a great success

Amazing Grace Space launch event on September 23-24 proved a great succes. Over 150 people came to see the unit which was in the car park of St Paul’s Church. Bishop Richard spoke on the Friday and said, “talking about working together is not the same as actually working together”. The church needs to work together to support the most vulnerable in our city. Street Pastors bring light and hope to towns and cities of Wales

In the light of the recent murders in the city centre of Cardiff it is a great time to reflect on the amazing work done by Street pastors in towns and cities across Wales. Every year Cardiff Street Pastors have an annual event to highlight their work in the Capital city and to raise much needed funds for the work they do throughout the year. Koreans visit Wales to give thanks for the life of Robert Jermain Thomas

During this month (September 2016) and next (October) Wales will be visited by a number of Koreans coming to say thank you to Wales for sending them a missionary who was martyred for his faith, but who many Koreans see as the first seeds of the good news of Jesus coming to Korea. The man in question is Welshman Robert Jermain Thomas. He answered a call to ministry but, for him, it was to be the mission field. He went with the London Missionary Society to China. New single commemorates CAP UK's 20th birthday

Christians Against Poverty UK is celebrating it's 20th birthday with a brand new single by musician Philippa Hanna.CAP has seen 20,000 people a year lifted out of debt, with 1,000 finding jobs through CAP Jobs Club, and 1,000 decide to follow Jesus through the ministry.The track You are loved was written after singer-songwriter Philippa experienced hardship herself.She said: "I wrote this song to be an anthem to empower us as Christians to go out into the dark places and turn people's lives around."I know that debt can affect anybody.
