Director – Pastoral Support (South) Rural Ministries

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 pro rata (depending upon experience)

This is a part time position based on eight days per month

Rural Ministries is an exciting and developing mission agency that since 1962 has been seeking to encourage mission, enable pioneers and equip the rural church across the UK. Due to continued expansion we are looking to grow our team to further encourage the missional and pastoral clustering of church ministers, pioneers and other key leaders for spiritual support, learning and mutual encouragement.

We are seeking someone who is experienced in church leadership and inter-church activities who is gifted in pastoral care and ready for a new challenge. With a genuine interest in making a missional difference to the life of the rural church, you will work with us across a variety of church streams and organisations. You will need to balance a varied work load and hold a breadth of theological wisdom in this role, whilst holding firm to our values.

This is a part time position based on eight days per month, open to lay or ordained persons. There is a requirement to have a full driving licence, your own vehicle and to travel within the UK.

Public Policy Officer - Evangelical Alliance Wales

Are you passionate about giving the Christian community a voice? Now more than ever Christians must speak into the wide range of issues being faced in public life, politics and the press.

We are seeking an experienced public policy officer to take the lead in implementing our advocacy strategy in Wales.

Your role will be varied and exciting – from monitoring the activities of the National Assembly for Wales and related political structures, analysing public policy and legislation from a Christian perspective, to representing evangelical views to policy-makers and the media, to equipping Alliance members to engage in society as active citizens.
